Dentist
Dr Setareh Mokhtarani completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Melbourne in 2010. Subsequently, she moved up to the sunny Gold Coast and completed a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry at Griffith University in 2015. Whilst studying Dentistry, she worked in private practice for four years as an Oral Health Therapist providing preventative, periodontal and paediatric dental care.
Upon graduating from Dentistry, she moved to Shepparton and worked at Goulburn Valley Health Hospital for two years prior to moving back home to Melbourne. Dr Setareh has acquired teaching experience, as a clinical demonstrator for the University of Melbourne students as well as supporting and mentoring students in the Dental Teaching Clinic at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. Additionally, Dr. Setareh has also had many years of experience treating Dental Emergencies and Trauma in the Primary Care Unit at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.
Dr Setareh enjoys establishing good rapport and long-term relationships with existing and new patients of the clinic. Dr Setareh is passionate about providing comprehensive care to patients and is a strong believer that good oral health contributes to good general health. Dr. Setareh takes a collaborative approach when developing dental care plans that ensures that patients wants and needs are put first and foremost.
Dr Setareh is also qualified to provide muscle relaxant injections to help provide TMD relief in addition to cosmetic anti-wrinkle injectables..
In her spare time when Dr. Setareh is not attending CPDs and keeping up to date with the latest dentistry innovations, she can be found exploring Melbourne’s best restaurants and cafés, challenging herself to a hike and traveling to new destinations to learn about their history and culture.
