Teeth Whitening

St Vincent’s Dental Centre is proud to provide you with POLA advanced tooth whitening system. Available as either in-chair or at-home treatments, it provides whiter smiles faster, it is a safe system to bleach your teeth.


The process for POLA Office (in-chair) is:


  1. Our dentist will take and record the shade of your teeth
  2. Your teeth are cleaned
  3. A resin barrier is applied to the gum areas surrounding the teeth to protect your gums from coming into contact with the peroxide gel
  4. A hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to each tooth
  5. A special dental light shines on the teeth for 8 – 10 minutes (optional)
  6. The gel is removed from your teeth using suction
  7. Our dentist will repeat steps 3 ~ 5 about 2 or 3 more times

Alternatively you may choose to whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home. Our dentist will take an impression of your teeth so that a perfectly formed tray can be moulded for your specific bite. Then you may take it home and apply the gel as instructed by our dentists. Either method of whitening that you choose is easy and provides a beautiful vibrant smile.
